Disclaimer: Neither of us have read beyond the first novel in the Song of Ice and Fire series, and therefore our discussion of the events and predictions for future episodes are exclusively based on the events depicted in the HBO series.

Game of Thrones is clearly moving forward, but to what conclusion we have given up on guessing. In this podcast we focus exclusively on the 7th episode, “A Man Without Honor” and discuss the awakening that Cersei’s character appears to have regarding the repercussions on her (and Jamie’s) actions, the shocking cliffhanger involving Theon and two charred bodies and just what the *bleep* is going on in Qarth. We also explore the differences between the seeming democracy described by the Wildlings north of the Wall and the unstable monarchy ruling Westeros and touch briefly on just how “honorable” the late Ned Stark truly appears in retrospect.
